Reviews and Ratings
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was comfortable, and the full Cumberland breakfast served by the pleasant manageress was a great way to start the day. However, there were some issues with the service that impacted our dining experience. The location was superb, making it easy to get around, but some areas need a bit of maintenance. Overall, a lovely stay with a few hiccups.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were big and spacious with a comfy bed, and the Cumberland breakfast served by the pleasant manageress was a great start to the day. However, the creaking floorboards from the room above were a bit bothersome.
The hotel, despite being in a historic building, fell short of expectations with small, hot, and basic rooms that differed significantly from the online images. Limited parking spaces often meant guests had to pay for parking nearby. On the bright side, the staff were very helpful in resolving issues, and the breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection. The location in Keswick town center was convenient, although popular, making seating a challenge at times.
